Our first priority for each and every guest that participates in any retreat or surf adventure is that they are treated with respect, have loads of fun and great experiences with the opportunity to learn something new.

Why are we here?

It is fairly common these days for us to be working too much, not spending enough time with our partners and children, or simply not doing enough good for ourselves on a daily basis.

Soul Surfing has been developed to try and add a little bit of nurturing into your life. We know these activities make us feel better so we want to share this with you. We hope that you can take these activities into your daily life to help you balance your lifestyle and restore your energy levels.

The simple activities of surfing and yoga, either acting alone or in partnership with each other, can very simply add some subtle benefits to your life. There are many physical, mental and spiritual benefits when surfing and yoga are combined. Our desire to share the benefits associated with these two wonderful activities has become our major focus.

Soul Surfing hopes that you can gain some or all of the following benefits from attending our holiday experiences:

Environment

We are passionate about our natural environment and make every effort to minimise Soul Surfing’s environment impact.

• We use rainwater from our tank to supply drinking water and also water for rinsing after your surf.
• We are trying to place more pressure on local service stations to supply Biodiesel, as it is unavailable at this time.
• The Observatory Resort has been awarded a ‘Green Star’.
• We do not include or recommend the use of the Vichy shower as part of your spa treatment.
• We work closely with suppliers trying to help them minimise their impact.
• We will pick up rubbish left by others to prevent the ocean becoming its resting place.
• We are supporters of ‘Clean Oceans’ an organisation committed to reducing the number of ocean outfalls around Australia.
• Any other suggestions we will welcome.
